When John Cena brings his retirement tour to Perth, Australia, he will face an old rival. WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque confirmed on social media that Cena will wrestle AJ Styles one final time at the 2025 Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.

Levesque was responding to Cena’s post about the results of his informal poll of fans online, which showed that WWE fans wanted this match. WWE also posted the match card to its site.
There has not been any onscreen storyline build to the match yet. It is the third match announced for the card, following the two Crown Jewel champion versus champion matches. Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer will face the winner of the Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and Jade Cargill match this Friday on Smackdown.
